LNIB Bear’s Den – Business Pitch Competition

 

What?

LNIB Economic Development is pleased to announce the “LNIB Bear’s Den” business competition! This competition is designed to reward a prospective LNIB Entrepreneur with start-up funding, individual coaching & training, access to financing and business plan development!

When/Where?

We are aiming to have the event on Wednesday December 6, 2023 at Shulus Hall. The event will consist of business pitches and a catered dinner for anyone who wants to attend.

Who?

This contest is open to LNIB Members of any age.

Why?

LNIB Economic Development is interested in funding a young entrepreneur to start their own venture and will assist them to take it from an idea to reality and beyond.

How?

If you’re pitch is selected, you will be provided with the following:

– $2,000 Start Up Cash;

– Business plan and cash flow development for financing applications;

– Assistance to access Business Equity Grant (Up To $1,500 Matching Equity);

– Assistance to access the First Citizens Fund (40% Grant 60% Loan over 5 years);

– Assistance to access the Women’s Entrepreneur Fund (Women Only) (35-40% Grant Applied Immediately);

– Personalized coaching and training opportunities.
