Chief and Council for LNIB and FNHA are recommending a community wide approach to COVID immunization. This means that anyone living on or working on LNIB Reserves, whether you are an LNIB member or not, and are 18 years old and up will eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine through our LNIB clinics, as vaccines become available. LNIB has not be advised of when the vaccines will be available or how many vaccines will be delivered in each round, but it is likely there will be short notice.
If a limited amount of vaccines are delivered, priority for vaccination will be for Elders and those with comprised health. Please note that if you are unsure about whether your health condition would prevent you from getting the vaccine, you are urged to contact your health provider now. In some cases a written permission might be required.
