How Does Community Scoping Fit Into the
Community Planning Process?
Community Scoping is a piece of the larger Community Planning process. Scoping is a collaborative process that relies on member input, research, and the LNIB Community Profile to identify specific areas of life in our community that should be addressed through community planning work. The result of the Community Scoping process is a "road map" of action steps that will guide our community toward a healthy, prosperous future. The action steps that emerged from the Community Scoping process are inspired by our cultural, economic and environmental roots, and seek to build strong connections between our past, our present and our future.
