What is the Band School?

The Band School is a learning facility where First Nations children have an opportunity to learn about their unique cultural heritage while obtaining the knowledge and skills necessary for life in a multicultural society.  The People, the Land and the Culture are integral components in the education of the students.

As an independent school, the Band School follows the BC Curriculum.  Their teachers not only have their BC Teaching Certificates, but have knowledge and deep appreciation of First Nations cultures.

Why Should I/My Child Attend?
